The Chrysanthemum flower, often referred to as mum or even chrysanths, is known for its warm colored blooms during the fall season. Though this autumn staple is native to eastern parts of Asia and northeastern Europe, its name is derived from the ancient Greek words for "gold" and "flower". Chrysanthemums hold a variety of different meanings, with the most common being joy and longevity.
